Era Training Center’s Lake Charles facility is a state-of-the art training center, providing the highest caliber instruction to rotorcraft professionals from around the world.
Initially founded to train Era Group personnel, the Center has expanded and offers a diverse array of training programs for corporate aircraft operators, medical flight services, airborne law-enforcement personnel, and others.
Era Training Center LLC is an FAA approved CRF Part 142 Training Center. The FTDs located at the Center are qualified by the National Simulator Program of the FAA as Advanced Level 6 Devices, and our training programs are Insurance Industry approved. The Center has Designated Pilot Examiners, Training Center Evaluators and FAA authorized Check Airmen on staff. ETC can offer aircraft from Era Helicopters’ diverse fleet.
In the past six decades Era Helicopters has earned industry recognition for its commitment to safety and excellence throughout all its operations. Era Training Center draws upon—and adds to—Era Helicopters’ experience and history of exacting safety standards.
