Our new High-tech Building
Within the Center, there are debriefing offices for each FTD where the flight lessons can be reviewed in detail, with playback of the flights to facilitate a higher level of crew understanding and proficiency.
The debriefing offices use the Frasca Debriefing Station (FDS) software, which provides information on unfamiliar airports, instrument procedures and operating environments prior to flight lessons.
The Center features state-of-the-art electronic classrooms to facilitate student interaction and high levels of comprehension and understanding. The classrooms have been specifically tailored to accommodate various group sizes and training requirements. We offer everything from a formal conference room with video conferencing, to a classroom equipped with computer stations for interactive student software, and even a classroom equipped to support a group as large as 30 people. The front reception area features a sitting area and a transient office where Internet service is available. A kitchen and break area is also available.
The Center has two large helipads and a 2,000-foot flyaway to support Era Group aircraft utilized for training. Era Group’s diverse fleet of aircraft currently includes makes and models from a variety of manufacturers, including Agusta, Bell, Eurocopter and Sikorsky.
